Los Angeles police were called to an impound lot where an abandoned Tesla was reportedly emitting a “foul odor” on Monday (September 8). After responding to the call, police discovered a dead body decomposing inside the vehicle, which they later found was registered to “Romantic Homicide” singer d4vd.
According to NBC News, the body is not in tact and the level of decomposition complicates the investigation and identification of the victim. Police report that the body was found inside of a bag in the vehicle’s front trunk.
It’s being reported that the Tesla was taken to the impound lot due to being “abandoned” and had been on the impound lot for several days.
d4vd is currently on tour. He last performed Madison, Wisconsin on Sunday and Rolling Stone reports that his concert in Minneapolis scheduled for Tuesday (September 9) “is happening.”
Police report that d4vd has been “fully cooperative” in the investigation into the body found in his Tesla. Currently, there’s no word on whether or not the investigation will impact his ongoing tour. The last date in his North American tour is September 20 and he’s scheduled to go out on the international dates of his tour starting in October.
