Vincent D’Onofrio Responds to Charlie Cox’s Comments About ‘Final’ Season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

Charlie Cox recently caused a stir among Daredevil fans after calling the upcoming second season of Daredevil: Born Again “the final season” while speaking at a convention, but it might not actually be the end.

Season 2 will follow the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen as he forms an army to take on Mayor Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) and his growing grip over New York City.

After a fan asked about those remarks on X (formerly Twitter), Vincent responded, saying there’s a “good chance” the show will continue into a third season.

He later clarified in another post that he believes Charlie simply used the wrong word, and that they’ve discussed the future of the series together.

“I believe Charlie meant the last season we actually shot meaning the second season. Yet he used the term final season so it’s a bit confusing. But Charlie and I have discussed and we both agree there’s a very good chance for a third season,” Vincent wrote.

There’s been no official renewal news from Disney+, so whether Season 3 happens will likely depend on how the next installment performs with both critics and viewers.

Season 2 already has fans buzzing thanks to the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, reuniting two members of The Defenders for the first time in years. See the set photos!
