Emilie Kiser is making her first public statement following her son’s death.
The 26-year-old TikTok influencer’s son, 3-year-old Trigg Kiser, sadly died in a pool accident in May.
Following his death, Emilie has been silent on social media and an investigation into the circumstances around Trigg‘s death was launched. On Thursday (August 28), Emilie returned to TikTok for the first time since his death with a public statement about the loss of her son.

“Loss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words. I’ve spent days, weeks, months trying to find them and also take the time I’ve needed to digest the loss of my baby,” Emilie wrote on her TikTok account.
Emilie‘s statement continues, “Trigg is our baby and our best friend. The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful, and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable.”
In the post, Emilie went on to thank her family and followers for their support during this difficult time. The TikTok influencer made brief reference to the lack of boundaries between public figures and their followers and went on to share her plans for the future.
“Moving forward, I will be establishing more boundaries with what I share online. In the future, I hope to be in a place to share more about how I am navigating this grief, but right now, all I can say is thank you for the love, compassion, patience and space you’ve given us to grieve. I am more grateful for it than can ever be expressed,” Emilie wrote.
