Wendy Williams is stepping out to celebrate her 61st birthday!
The TV personality was all smiles as she and her former The Wendy Williams Show producer Suzanne Bass headed to Delmonico’s restaurant to celebrate her birthday on Thursday (July 17) in New York City.
For her outing, Wendy wore a long-sleeved, black minidress paired with black and white sneakers while carrying a Chanel bag.
While walking to the restaurant, Wendy was asked by TMZ what she wanted for her birthday this year.
Wendy immediately answered to “get out of guardianship.”
If you were unaware, Wendy has been under a legal guardianship since May 2022 and currently lives in a wellness facility in NYC. She has been very vocal about getting out of the arrangement.
In a recent interview, Wendy revealed what she hopes to do once she gets out of the guardianship.
