Taylor Russell Exits ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’, Production Continues Amid Re-Casting

Taylor Russell is no longer going to be starring in The Thomas Crown Affair.

According to Deadline, the 31-year-old actress has left the movie due to creative differences.

Michael B. Jordan is directing and starring in the adaptation of the 1968 movie which originally starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Alan Trustman, who wrote the original movie, is an executive producer on this upcoming adaptation.

Despite no longer starring in this romantic heist movie, Taylor has got a lot on her plate. She’s going to be starring in the upcoming Frank Ocean film, is reportedly in talks to be in an upcoming Single White Female remake alongside Jenna Ortega.

According to Deadline, production for The Thomas Crown Affair is still underway and the movie is set to be released in theaters March 5, 2027. Taylor‘s role is being recast as production on the movie continues to take place in London.
