Raven-Symoné is sharing her first comments following the tragic passing of her former co-star Malcolm-Jamal Warner.
If you did not see the tragic news, The Cosby Show actor died in a drowning accident on Sunday (July 20) while on vacation with his family. He was swimming at a beach in the Cocles de Limón area in Costa Rica.
On Tuesday (July 22), Raven, 39, took to Instagram to pay tribute to Malcolm.

“He was the big brother, he was a beacon, he was one of the most multifaceted talented men — so gentle,” she continued. “And my heart and soul and hugs and kisses go out to his daughter and his wife and his mother.”
“He gave the best advice. He gave the best hugs and his smile will always be a huge bright f–king white smile in my head forever,” Raven went on while breaking into tears.
She concluded by telling Malcolm, “I love you and I know you’re watching over all of us now. Bye, Malcolm.”
Raven and Malcolm both starred on The Cosby Show, which ran for eight seasons from 1984 to 1992 on NBC. Raven joined the show for season six in 1989.
