Jinx Monsoon‘s Oh, Mary! co-stars have been announced!
Back in June, it was announced that the 37-year-old RuPaul’s Drag Race two-time winner will take over for Cole Escola in the role of Mary Todd Lincoln in the hit Broadway show.
Then on Wednesday (July 16), it was announced that Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Urie, and Jenn Harris will be sharing the stage with Jinx.
Keep reading to find out more…Kumail will be taking over Conrad Ricamora‘s role as Mary’s Husband, Michael will be taking over for James Scully as Mary’s teacher, and Jenn will be taking over the role of Mary’s Chaperone from Bianca Leigh, Playbill announced.
Jinx, Kumail, Michael, and Jenn‘s roles in Oh, Mary! are all starting on August 4. The play marks Kumail and Jenn‘s Broadway debuts.
Conrad, James, and Bianca along with Tituss Burgess, who is the show’s current Mary Todd, will play their final performances on August 2. Original cast member Tony Macht, who has played Mary’s Husband’s Assistant in the play’s Off-Broadway and Broadway shows, is staying with the show through September 28.
Cole Escola, who also wrote the play, made Broadway history with their win at the Tonys as the first non-binary performer to win in their category. See more from their Tonys win!
