Julie Bowen has nothing but good things to say about her Happy Gilmore 2 co-star Adam Sandler.
The 55-year-old actress spoke to Us Weekly about reprising her role as Virginia Venit in the comedy sequel.
According to Julie, her 58-year-old co-star is “very respectful” to work with, praising him for everything from kissing scenes to how he treats people on set.

Julie shared that Adam is particularly respectful when it comes to filming kissing scenes. She told the publication, “I love Adam. He’s a very respectful person, especially when it comes to, like, a kissing scene or something. I always feel like I can drive that train. He’s like, ‘Oh, you’re gonna gimme the tongue?’ And I was like, ‘I might! I might do it.’”
Julie shared that Adam makes everyone on set feel “home” while on set, regardless of their role.
“When he talks about all the cameos and the guest stars, he doesn’t talk about getting a good performance out of them. He talks about thanking them for giving up their time, for standing around for 12 hours and doing their part. That has never changed,” she told the publication.
