Tom Sandoval is taking over America’s Got Talent!
The 42-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum shocked fans by giving a surprise audition on season 20 of the NBC talent competition series.
“My name is Tom Sandoval, I was the most hated man in America,” Sandoval said in the preview for the Tuesday, June 24 episode. “This is the chance to show who I am as a musician.”

Sandoval and his band, Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras, then sang a cover of A-ha‘s ’80s hit “Take on Me.”
At first Simon and fellow judge Sofia Vergara appeared skeptical of Sandoval‘s singing ability, but his performance seemingly impressed both the judges and the audience.
