The Weeknd is lighting up Los Angeles and night two of his four show takeover at SoFi Stadium was nothing short of explosive.

The 35-year-old global superstar is currently in the middle of a sold out four night residency at SoFi, packing the 70,000 seat stadium with his massive hits, moody visuals, and signature swagger.

Fans at Night Two (Saturday, June 22) were treated to an epic setlist spanning Dawn FM, After Hours, and Starboy plus deep cuts for the day one XO loyalists. The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, delivered theatrical lighting, haunting stage design, and hypnotic choreography, transforming the stadium into a surreal synth drenched fever dream.

The vibe was pure electricity. The crowd was singing every word. The set was over two hours of Abel in full command gliding through songs like “Save Your Tears,” “In the Night,” “Often,” and a crowd thumping closer with “Blinding Lights.

Abel broke the record for most shows by a male artist at Sofi with seven sold-out dates! He previously sold out three in 2022.

In a recent interview, the Grammy-winning entertainer revealed if he’s really going to drop his “The Weeknd” stage name.
