Pavel Durov reveals how his wealth will be distrubuted when it comes to that time.
The 40-year-old Telegram co-founder and CEO was charged with 17 counts of child pornography, drug trafficking and money laundering after being arrested in France in August 2024.
He has already gone before a judge twice, once in December and again in February, and another appearance in July.
In a rare new interview, the billionaire has revealed that he wrote his will recently and his fortune will be distributed amongst his 100+ children!

“I decided that my children would not have access to my fortune until a period of thirty years has elapsed, starting from today,” he shared with French outlet Le Point. “I want them to live like normal people, to build themselves up alone, to learn to trust themselves, to be able to create, not to be dependent on a bank account.”
“I want to specify that I make no difference between my children: there are those who were conceived naturally and those who come from my sperm donations,” Pavel reveals. “They are all my children and will all have the same rights! I don’t want them to tear each other apart after my death.”
He then reveals that he is the “official father” of six children, with three different partners.
“The others come from my anonymous donation,” he added. “The clinic, where I started donating sperm fifteen years ago to help a friend, told me that more than 100 babies had been conceived this way in 12 countries.”
On why he has already written his will at a younger age, Pavel said, “My work involves risks – defending freedoms earns you many enemies, including within powerful states. I want to protect my children, but also the company I created, Telegram. I want Telegram to forever remain faithful to the values I defend.”
Pavel is reportedly worth $17.1 billion at this time, according to Forbes. He ranks No 118 among 2025 billionaires.
If he even distributes the current wealth between the 106 children, they each would receive $161.3 million in 30 years!
