Sara Bareilles teamed up with Cynthia Erivo for an emotional performance at the Tonys for the In Memoriam segment.
The two entertainers performed a cover of the classic Broadway song “Tomorrow” from Annie at the 2025 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Sara‘s longtime best friend Gavin Creel, who was a Tony-winning Broadway actor, tragically died after a cancer battle last year. He was the final person to be honored during the segment.
During the pre-show, Sara took to the stage to present the Isabelle Stevenson Award to Celia Keenan-Bolger, who was one of Gavin’s other longtime friends.
