A new trailer for Freakier Friday has been released and it gives us more insight into Chad Michael Murray‘s character Jake!
If you don’t remember, Jake was the boyfriend to Lindsay Lohan‘s Anna in the 2003 movie Freaky Friday, though they’re no longer together in the sequel. So, why is he back?

Anna is getting ready to marry Manny Jacinto‘s Eric Davies in the sequel, but a “Freaky Friday” switch happens. Anna and her mom Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) switch bodies with her daughter Harper (Julia Butters) and soon-to-be step-daughter Lily (Sophia Hammons).
Harper and Lily decide to use the opportunity to try and break up their parents and make sure the wedding does not happen, so they track down Anna’s first love and attempt to reunite them. That’s when Jake appears!
Also starring in the sequel are Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Vanessa Bayer, and Mark Harmon.
