“Greetings fellow outcasts, and welcome back to Nevermore Academy,” Steve starts out in the video. “I’m your new principal, Barry Dort. Last year, this school, this sanctuary, came under attack, thanks to my predecessor, Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie). Her repugnant devotion to all things normie was a disaster, but I relish every opportunity to right her wrongs.”

“This year, I am returning Nevermore to its former glory by replenishing our ranks with a fresh batch of eager young outcasts. Like this freshman, still learning how to master his outcast ability,” he continued as it showed Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams.

Other stars seen in the video include Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers and Joy Sunday.

“I’ve always been a fan of the Addams family — the movies, the TV show, and I was a big fan of Wednesday, so I was very excited to know that they were interested in me to play the new principal of Nevermore,” Steve shared with Tudum. “Barry Dort is a bit of a mysterious figure. Something about him is not right, but he loves the school and he has real outcast pride.”

“Nothing is what it seems in Season 2,” series creator Miles Millar shared. “Wednesday goes into this season thinking she knows Nevermore. It’s the first time she’s returned to a school willingly. But as soon as she gets back, nothing happens that she’s expecting. She thinks she’s going to be in control, that she knows where all the bodies are buried, and she doesn’t.”

Wednesday season two is set to premiere the first four episodes on August 6th and the final four on September 3rd. Watch the first six minutes here!
