“Thank you guys so much for this incredible honor. I’m so deeply sad I can’t be there with you right now. Thank you to each and every one of you who has invested your time, passion, love and theories,” she told the crowd.
Deadline reports that Evangeline‘s cancellation was due to “health reasons.”
Back in May, Evangeline suffered gruesome injuries after fainting at the beach and hitting her face on a boulder.
Evangeline went on to explain that she’s had fainting spells ever since she was a little girl. After doctors ruled out epilepsy, they ultimately told her that she has hypoglycemia, (low blood sugar). The Lost alum then admitted that she believes her fainting spells might be connected to her emotional well-being. When she wakes up after fainting, Evangeline said that she’s filled with a sense of euphoria and feels like she’s at peace, but then she’s brought back to reality.
