Emily Alyn Lind is talking about how she handled the big plot twist at the end of season 1 of We Were Liars.
While speaking to Us Weekly, the 23-year-old actress talked about how she handled filming the major plot twist in the TV adaptation of We Were Liars.

Fans of the original novel of the same name will already know that the twist of the story involves most of the characters being ghosts while Emily‘s character is suffering from amnesia and has forgotten the accident that took their lives.
According to Emily, acting like she wasn’t aware that her characters’ friends were actually ghosts all along wasn’t that hard because she often forgot herself.
She told the publication, “So many times, I just forgot what had happened. That they were supposed to be dead. I think that that’s why the twist is so great, not because of me, but just because we [were] still connected. We all decided to go at it the same way, which was we’re not going to — they didn’t act like they were dead.”
