Elon Musk is making yet another change to X, formerly Twitter.
The 53-year-old richest man in the world announced that hashtags will not be allowed to be used in paid ads on the social media platform beginning Friday (June 27), calling it an “esthetic nightmare.”
The ban of hashtags only applies to ads, not regular posts.
“Starting tomorrow, the esthetic nightmare that is hashtags will be banned from ads on X,” he wrote.
