Megan Hilty brought the laughter to the Tonys this year!
The 44-year-old actress performed her hilarious song “For the Gaze” from Death Becomes Her at the 2025 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Death Becomes Her is nominated for 10 awards tonight, including Best Musical. Megan and her co-star Jennifer Simard are both up for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical.
The song “For the Gaze” happens right at the beginning of Death Becomes Her and is Megan‘s character Madeline Ashton’s song from the show within the show. There are multiple costume changes throughout the song, including nods to Liza Minnelli‘s iconic red suit and Judy Garland‘s Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.
