The trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos‘ new movie has been released!
On Thursday (June 26), Focus Features debuted the trailer for the 51-year-old Oscar-nominated filmmaker’s latest movie Bugonia, which stars his frequent collaborator Emma Stone along with Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone.
Keep reading to find out more…Here’s a brief synopsis of the movie: “Two conspiracy obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.”
The new movie marks the fourth project for Yorgos and Emma. Last year, the duo and Jesse all worked together on film Kinds of Kindness.
Later this summer, Emma will bestarring alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, and Austin Butler in Ari Aster’s new movie Eddington, which hits theaters July 18. Watch the latest trailer here!
Bugonia will first hit theaters with a special limited engagement on October 24th before a wide expansion on October 31.
