Jasmine Amy Rogers is one of the breakout stars of the Broadway season, but we sadly won’t be seeing her performing on the Tonys stage after producers denied her a performance slot.
The 26-year-old actress, who stars in BOOP! The Musical, looked stunning on the red carpet at the 2025 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Jasmine is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her work in BOOP, but the show missed out on a Best Musical nomination and wasn’t guaranteed a performance. Even though the show offered to pay the reported $300,000 performance fee, Tonys producers wouldn’t give the show a performance slot.
Last week, Jasmine shared a petition to support BOOP‘s performance hopes. One day before the Tonys, she shared the petition didn’t work.
She tweeted, “Tony performance isn’t likely to change my loves. But don’t worry, I’ll be on that stage soon enough. ❤️❤️❤️ Life has just begun!”
