Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson have not seen each other in over 18 years, but that all just changed on an episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show.

The two actors worked together on the movie Dreamgirls and both earned Oscar nominations for their performances, with Jennifer taking home a win for Best Supporting Actress.

During Eddie‘s appearance on Jennifer‘s talk show, they revealed that they have not seen each other since the Oscars in 2007. He opened up about unreleased music collaborations with legends like Michael Jackson and B.B. King and talked about becoming in-laws with his longtime friend Martin Lawrence after their children’s surprise wedding.

Eddie was on the show to promote his new action-comedy movie The Pickup and his co-star Keke Palmer joined him for the interview.

In the action-comedy The Pickup, a routine cash pickup takes a wild turn when two mismatched armored truck drivers, Russell (Murphy) and Travis (Pete Davidson), are ambushed by ruthless criminals led by a savvy mastermind, Zoe (Palmer), with plans that go way beyond the cash cargo. As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse.

The movie will be released on Prime Video on August 6.
