A new Glee docuseries aims to unpack some of the tragedies that occurred behind the scenes on the show. However, it does not appear to have the blessing of the cast.
The Price of Glee is set to premiere on ID and Discovery+ on January 16, 2023, and a trailer hinted at some of what the project would cover. Notably, it appears to be highlighting the deaths of former cast members Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith and Mark Salling.
Although the project hints that cast members did participate in the creation of The Price of Glee, many former stars from the series have spoken out against it. The most recent and vocal example is Kevin McHale, who recently launched a podcast about the series with Jenna Ushkowitz.
