For the first time in 39 seasons on the air, Survivor will not air their reunion show live on finale night.
The reason? It’s because of the “sensitive nature of the material of this season” and “security concerns” after a contestant was removed from the game, EW reports.
The finale’s normally live reunion will instead be pre-taped a few hours ahead of when it normally does.
Survivor‘s finale will air on December 18 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET on CBS. Be sure to tune in to see who wins.
