Don Johnson is daughter Dakota Johnson‘s biggest fan!
During a new interview with The Sunday Telegraph’s Stellar magazine, the 69-year-old Knives Out actor praised the 30-year-old actress, calling her “one of the most gifted actresses alive today.”
Don added, “Of course I’m her father, but I can also recognize talent when I see it.”
Don then went on to talk about how he maintains a a close friendship with ex-wife Melanie Griffith, Dakota‘s mom.
“It’s pretty simple: when you love your children and want to share your life with them, it’s foolish to denigrate or have any animosity with their mother,” Don shared. “Children model you more than they listen to you.”
